Data Deletion Policy

This page explains what data Ads Optimiser stores about you, how to request its deletion, and what happens when you do. Your right to erasure is protected under UK GDPR.
What data Ads Optimiser stores
When you use Ads Optimiser, we may store the following:
- Account credentials β your email address and authentication data, managed via Supabase Auth.
- OAuth tokens β access tokens issued by Google, Meta, and Microsoft that allow Ads Optimiser to read your advertising data on your behalf. These are stored securely and used only to sync data.
- Campaign performance data β spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, keyword data, and audience insights synced from your connected ad accounts. This data originates with Google, Meta, or Microsoft; Ads Optimiser stores a copy to power your dashboards and reports.
- Settings and preferences β your alert settings, email report preferences, target CPA/ROAS thresholds, and workspace configuration.
- Workspace details β account name and any workspace configuration you have created within the app.
All data is stored in Supabase on EU-based servers. We do not sell your data to third parties.
How to request deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us by either of the following methods:
Option 1 β Email
Email andy@legaltechsolutions.co.uk with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the email address associated with your Ads Optimiser account.
Option 2 β Contact form
Use the contact form on the Ads Optimiser website. Please include your account email address and state that you are requesting data deletion.
What happens after you request deletion
- We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
- All personal data, account data, and synced campaign data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
- All connected ad account OAuth tokens (Google, Meta, Microsoft) will be revoked and all platform connections will be removed.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your account email address once deletion is complete.
- Where we are legally required to retain minimal records (such as security or audit logs), we will retain only what is required by law and for no longer than necessary.
About synced campaign data
Campaign performance data stored in Ads Optimiser β such as spend, keywords, and conversion statistics β is sourced from your Google, Meta, and Microsoft advertising accounts via their official APIs. This data originates with those platforms, not with Ads Optimiser. Deleting your Ads Optimiser account removes our copy of this data but does not affect the data held by those platforms.

Your rights under UK GDPR
Under UK GDPR you have the right to request erasure of your personal data (the "right to be forgotten"). You also have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, and to correct inaccurate data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
